About Monadnock Garden Club
The Monadnock Garden Club has been part of the fabric of this region since 1925, and is one of the oldest member clubs of The Garden Club of America, a relationship dating to 1928. In 2025, we proudly celebrated our centennial, one hundred years of tending gardens, teaching gardeners, and gathering in the Monadnock region. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and part of a national tradition of education, stewardship, and service rooted in New Hampshire.
Our work is grounded in the belief that gardens enrich both private and public life, and that thoughtful care for the natural world strengthens the communities in which we live. We bring together members who share an interest in gardening, design, native plants, conservation, and the visual arts. Through meetings, workshops, field trips, flower shows, and community projects, we encourage learning, creativity, and active participation.
The Monadnock Garden Club is a summer club, with meetings and activities running from April through October. To learn more, contact us.
At the heart of the club is a commitment to beauty with purpose — beauty that inspires, educates, restores, and serves.
